Funny Story. . .break from Africa


I have to take a break from our Africa stories to tell you a HILARIOUS story about my precious nephew. He's the super cute curly blond headed kiddo in the group picture. These adorable pics were taken while my mom and Brittani (also the sister who I'll be on the Wheel of Fortune with!) were watching my kids during our trip. Aren't they cute? I love pumpkin patch pictures. My sister and mom don't love them though. . they said this was one of the worst photo sessions ever! My kids hadn't napped and were not really into posing for photos. Brittani's kids on the other hand. . start posing as soon as they see a camera!


ok, on to the funny Bradley story. He is in school this year and was working on his homework the other day. His homework was to practice writing. He needed to write one line of 1's, one of 2's, one of F's and one of G's. He started with the letters and then moved on to the numbers. After writing a whole line of F's and G's, he began his 1's. He wrote first one 1 and then 2. . .sighing with frustration he erased them both and began again. He wrote one 1 and then the 2nd. . then sighed with frustration again and erased them. He tried a 3rd time, getting more and more frustrated each time. Finally Brittani stepped in to find out what was the matter. "Bradley, you understand the homework, right? You did so good with your line of F's and G's, just do the same with your 1's." Bradley answered, "I keep trying, Mom. . but, my 1's keep turning into 11's!" I did NOT make that up, people! Tell me that's not one of the funniest things you've ever heard!

that was really cute. it reminds me of a time when we were teaching our kayla the abc's and she would say them all the way up to l, m, n, o, p and pause and go thank Q, r,s t, it was hilarious. she thought thank you was part of the alphabet. i love how little kids minds work!

When Briley was in preschool they taught the kids to count from one to twenty. The kids all had that down so the teacher thought she would see how high the kids could count. Briley could count... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 17,18,19,20,21,2,3,4,5....
We laughed as he would loop back to the single digits every time.

Kids are quite adorable!

What a cute story! He is one funny little boy! And I just love these pics of the kids! They're all smiling and looking at the camera. Very fun that they all went to the pumpkin patch together!!

As far as what should you post from your trip... We want to hear it all!! I love hearing about all the precious people you came into contact with. So we can pray specifically for them too.

I love you sweet friend!! Wish I could be there for Fall Festival!!

That's a great story! Poor guy I can see his frustration.

P.S. Yes, it was rather chilly to be doing a car wash. We reached a high of 51*. It was well worth it though!

I saw all the pics that Brittani took and they are adorable! I would have never guessed your kids were cranky from looking at the pics.
