Snow!

Tonight, we ventured up to Brasstown Bald, the top of a mountain to see if we could find snow. Yes, we are TRUE Florida girls! We were absolutely freezing at a cool 24 degrees here at the top of the mountain. Once we got to the top, we realized that they were closed! All was not lost, however, as we noticed little bits of snow on the ground along the road. We pulled off the road into the woods and let the kids out to play in the "snow" (most of you northerners wouldn't probably call it snow). Even my mom is thinking in terms of blogging now. . .she kept saying, "you just have to get a good shot so you can blog it!" So, without further adieu. . .my snuggly kids all wrapped up for winter. Aren't they stinkin' cute?

My mom and the kiddos (Nana) I love when they tackle each other for hugs. My kids love each other SO much!
How precious is this little one?! When she is happy. . man, she is happy!
Ok, so I didn't have a hat. . I used my scarf instead and I kinda look muslim!
We head home tomorrow. . so pray for our 9 hour drive! Thankfully, we are going to break it up a bit at the 2 hour mark and meet my Aunt Linda and my cousin, Julie for brunch! I can't hardly be in Atlanta like this and not see SOME family!

You're right...that's hardly any snow! I'm glad they didn't want to make a snowman :)

Hurry home, we miss seeing you. The kids may still need their coats when they get home. It has been pretty cold here, however, we have no where near as much snow... Give the kids a hug for us. Praying for a safe trip and long naps for the kids as you ride.

My kids keep begging me to take them somewhere so they can play in the snow!! Crazy... I came here to get out of the snow! We may make it to PA one of these winters!! Of course then I would have to hear what I heard all morning today... I don't feel "comfortable" with this coat on. I don't want to wear a hat! Geez....
