My God is SO BIG

GOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! In ONE day, He did it!! We have all the money raised for the well for Rapha School and Community!! Praise the Lord! There are children in Uganda who will live past their 5th birthday! There are mamas who won't have to worry about their babies. . .there are people who will ask for water and believers who will be able to give it as a gift to their community in the name of JESUS!!! Thank you JESUS!!

I stand in AWE of Him. . .The truth is that with every fundraising opportunity, I learn. I learn to trust Him and wait on Him in a new way. I learn anew that HE loves them more than we. I learn that this isn't asking for money, it's presenting an opportunity to join God where HE is working. We are so blessed to be able to be a part of HIS work in Uganda. I've never even been there and He lets me play a little tiny part! Can you believe it? This is the kind of God we serve!

He gives OVER and Abundantly more than we can ever ask or imagine. I wouldn't have even imagined that this well would be funded this quickly! He is GOOD. In fact, we are going to leave up the donation button for Ruth and her ministry. We would love to see all 120 children have their tuition and uniform money raised. We have 116 children left to go! This entire month has been dedicated to praying for Ruth and the ministry of Bethesda Int'l. I implore you to use this month in this way. Pray for them! Call your friends and pray together. Gather your children and pray as a family. God is allowing us to be a part of HIS work!

Praise the LORD and check out details on Rapha School at www.kidslake.org or just click the donate button on the left side of my blog. Tuition for a semester is $10 and uniforms are $7! Let's keep blessing these kiddos!! Thank you Jesus!

I thought of you as I was watching Idol Gives Back tonight. I'm sure you watched and cried. It was a great reminder.

Oh yeah, that is so exciting and I'm so glad that I got to be a part of this one!!! Did you happen to catch American Idol tonight and the PSA with Jennifer Connely serving the dirty water to kids...I totally thought about the well projects.

And how funny that you and Jamie both thought I looked different. Perhaps it's the bangs...I just got those 3 weeks ago which I'm still trying to get used to myself.

Amazing! Truly Amazing. I watched bits and pieces of American Idol's special last night and they had snippets of Uganda. Just breaks my heart to watch it all...but it is amazing how people like you work so hard to help those less fortunate. Keep plugging away Brandi! You are amazing!

Brandi, your heart for Africa, post-adoption inspires me, as I am sure it does many others. Your passion is contagious and my prayer is that God will continue to use you, as you see His leading and submit to His will, to bless the people of Africa. Isn't life so full of joy when we live in light of eternity and not for ourselves? God has us on amazing journeys and the places He leads us are places we could never have imagined!

In Christ, Laura
