Happy Fourth of July!

Our Fourth was a blast! I started the day by running with my friends, Christie and Abby. I'm new to this whole running thing and just picked it up 2 months ago after a long hiatus (from not real running before!). Now, I'm signed up for the Disney Half Marathon in January so I have to get serious. This week? 9 Miles Baby!!! I was pretty DARN proud of myself! By far the furthest I've ever gone!!!
Then, I ran home quick to change and grab the kiddos and off to Abby's house for some pool time with the family. . .
Their son, Jack, showing us his muscles!

How cute is my boy?!
This is Price, their youngest with Tom, Abby's hubby!

Then, back home for naps ( I was exhausted after running that morning!) and off to Greg's work party. They throw a dinner and rent buses to take clients and families to Lake Eola for fireworks! My kids were HUGE fans of blowing bubbles.. .lovely! Basically, this mean sucking on bubble wands! Gracie and Davis had bubbles blowing out their mouths b/c of all the soap in there! Gross!
Brayden, at least was good at it! He loved it!

Madeliene and Gracie (Abby's daughter. . they came to dinner too. . we got to spend the whole day with them!)
The "littles" with my cousin Beth on the bus. Gracie thought this bus thing was pretty cool!
Sitting in the field getting ready for fireworks. . .

They were loving the fireworks. Davis' was a bit unsure. . but liked it in the end!
We hope your family had a wonderful Fourth! Thanks especially, to our many friends who serve our country. Especially, our awesome blogging buddies, Scott, the Spleen and Igor! We appreciate you and can't wait to meet you guys!

You go girl...9 miles, that's awesome! I am not a big fan of running at all so anything over 6 is a marathon to me.

Looks like you had a fun 4th.

I have been running for about a month now. I finished my first 5K on the 4th and am now working on a 10K for November, half-marathon in the early spring, then the Marine Corps Marathon next October.

Hey, that reminds me! I have to sign Rickydoodle and myself up for something similar to help our doctor's clinic. Now, where did he hide that sign-up sheet? :)

Good luck on the running. I hate every minute of running (when I actually do it). I don't see myself ever signing up for any kind of marathon. Ugh. But, hey, you have fun with that :) Don't you love my encouragement?
Looks like you had a fun 4ht as well. We watched our Wal-Mart fireworks in my in-laws driveway.

Good job on the 9 miles! I ran the Disney 1/2 marathon 2 years ago, and it was a blast! I'm glad you had a fun 4th!
