Putting it into Perspective

Thanks for all your sweet words and comments, guys! I've still got a fever, but I have a wonderful MIL who is coming this afternoon to watch "the littles" so Brayden and I can hit the doctor.

After my little complaining session yesterday, God did kick me in the pants a bit! To quote Joey from Friends, "my wallets too small for my twentys and my diamond shoes are too tight"

Yep, the truth is that at least I got to SEE the ocean. I was on a boat with my HUBBY. A boat with a doctor. With medicine to help me. I came back to children who are safe and sound and well cared for by my parents (thanks Mom and Dad!). The truth is, I don't have anything to complain about. Thank you Jesus for all that you've done. Friends. . keep my perspective in your prayers as I head out to the doctors' though! I have been known to wait 2 hours or more there!!!

Here's a video that helped bring about some of that perspective. I found it on Katy's blog. By the way, if you don't currently read her blog, ADD it to your list! She may not blog as often anymore, but when she does you'll be blown away. Encouraged, challenged and inspired to be more like Jesus just for having been her friend (blog or otherwise!).

Hey Brandi - thank you! I am not sure anyone could be more self-conscious than me.

And you know what - everyone I know would be bummed about getting sick. You didn't seem to dwell so you're doing great! I would probably still be sulking about it.
