They are gathering water. Wait, do you see a well? NO. Just a large puddle. Dirty water. Yes, those children with the jerrycans on their heads are carrying water, dirty water home to their families. YOU can help!
My blog friends, Jody and Amy, have started a campaign this Christmas. Water 4 Christmas. They are raising money for wells dug by charity:water to be put in LIBERIA!!!!!
Join in! Consider this statistic. Americans spend 450 billion on Christmas. We could give clean water to the world for a THIRD of that. Consider that for a moment. Oh Lord, if just a 3rd of us would ask for water for Christmas. . .or start giving water for Christmas. . .we could make a difference! I'm off to check this site out because I have seen the affects of unclean water in Guatemala and I know it's just as bad in Liberia!! Praying they raise all the funds needed!!
