Things they are a happening. . .

I'm not sure what to write here. . .there is stuff going on in the adoption process, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to talk about it yet. We are being considered for a "waiting child" whose info was sent out on the AoH (Acres of Hope, our adoption agency) yahoo group. They have "written our name down next to his name" but it won't be an official referral until all of our paperwork is in. So, right now I'm dying inside and BEGGING you guys to join us in prayer.

Yes, this would be WAY fast for a referral. Actually, it would be skipping about 5 months of the process. I just wrote Rae that right now I've been told "you may be pregnant, I'll let you know" that 's killing me inside. I also feel like the Lord is leading me to "ponder these things in my heart" like he told Mary. This is not my M.O. by the way. . .I ponder in my head, heart and out loud at all times. This is why I'm not writing every single detail. You guys will get a much more detailed post with the WHOLE story hopefully soon. Please pray for my heart during this week.

Things to Pray.. . . and, yes, I admit these things would be MIRACULOUS. . .but, we serve a miraculous God!

1. That Cathy finishes our homestudy quickly. She said Tues or Wed., I'm praying Tuesday!
2. That there will be very few changes needed
3. That the homestudy will be finalized and emailed to her agency by Wed.
4. That the lady at her agency will have time and get it printed and notorized that day
5. That it will get to Acres by Thursday or Friday
6. Someone will be at Acres to process it when it gets there
7. That we will get word on Friday that it is official

NOTE: The reason we are really praying that it will be official by Friday is that my parents are going out of town on Sunday for a week and would really like to see their new grandson before they leave.

Other note: The reason we want it official is not to "rush and get him before someone else does". I believe that God has the perfect home picked out for this little guy and if it's not with us, then please Lord shut the door. I'm just ready to know! I know that even when you get a referral that it's not a guarantee, but I won't hold my heart back at that point. I will still show the world and happily throw my heart into this child!

YES, I know that getting this done by the end of this week is HUGE and probably unrealistic. But, if I've learned anything in my walk with the Lord, sometimes he Does the Huge, unrealistic things just b/c that's how sweet He is. . . so I ask you to join me in praying for it!!
